I placed Altenew’s Graphic Brushstrokes Stamp Set in my MISTI and started with Altenew’s Crisp Dye Ink in Fresh Lemon and stamped two to three times to get a nice clean impression.

I cleaned my background stamp and rotated my card panel 180 degrees, then inked up my stamp with  Altenew’s Crisp Dye Ink in Ocean Waves and stamped two to three times to get a nice clean image. I chose Ocean Waves as it’s a nice light crisp blue and when overlapped with the Fresh Lemon ink, it would give me a nice vivid green! Three colours using only two ink pads…love it!

For a bit of wow…I used the included individual stamp ink the stamp set and inked it up using Tsukineko’s Versamark Ink and Brutus Monroe’s Sterling Embossing Powder.

I took a simple sentiment from the same stamp set and stamped it just slightly higher than the center of the panel using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink to ensure a crisp image.

I trimmed my brushed panel to approximately 5×3.75 inches and adhered  a piece of craft foam just slightly smaller to the back using Tombow Mono liquid glue. I opted to use a green craft foam similar in colour to the green created on the front of the panel.

I cut a panel of Simon Says Stamps Black cardstock measuring approximately 5.25 x4 inches and adhered my brushed panel to it. Then I added everything onto an A2 sized cardbase of Neenah Solar White cardstock .

It’s a relatively simple card but with lots of colour and a pop of shine. I like the look of this card that I ended up creating several backgrounds with different colours to keep for future cards.
