Altenew Educator Certification Program (AECP) – Clean and Simple Boutique Cards

I absolutely LOVE the look of a clean and simple card. I have actually been trying to do more of my cards in that way… Doesn’t always happen mind you. I learned some really great techniques in Altenew’s Clean and Simple Boutique Cards class and I have made a few cards already, but my final submission is based on simple styling.

Using Altenew’s Charming Doodles stamp set, I started off by stamping the 3 of the largest flower outlines and built my floral design around that.

After the outlines were done I started with the colour layers. I wanted bright colours that worked well together.

I used Forest Glades and bamboo for the leaves, Pinkalicious, Coral Bliss, Razzleberry and Lavender for the flowers and Fresh Lemon for the centers.

I used Altenew’s Birthday Builder Stamp Set for the sentiment placed in the bottom right corner.

I trimmed my panel down to 4 x5.25 inches and adhered it directly to a card base measuring approximately 4.25×5.5 inches. Voila!
